Application Description:  Med Buddy is a smart phone app that allows an assigned user to record videos of patients taking medications as prescribed. Programming of the app is individualized based on the patient and includes medication, time due, and reminders for medication administration. 15-30 second videos are recorded of the patient taking the medication and sent to a monitoring physician or medical staff to verify compliance with medication administration. The monitor has access to a dashboard that indicates compliance of all patients being monitored to include date and time of administration, access to video for viewing, and geographic location (but not street address) of patient.
